Cutbert Bay Beach

The Corbyns Cove beach is one of the unspoiled and tranquil sandy beach located just 8 kms from the City centre, therefore, has become the closest beach from the city. With pleasant blue sea water and lush green coconut palms, the beach allows visitors to relax alongside and enjoy several water sports available on the shore of the beach. Some of the water activities that one can undertake and enjoy at the Corbyns Cove beach include scuba diving, surfing and boating. From here, you can visit the threateningly named Snake Island which is rumored to have a lot of deadly snakes. One can take a motorboat to land at this island. Cutbert Bay Beach is a lengthy beach with a tropical forest bordering the beach, located at a distance of 12 km from Rangat. Amkunj Bay beach

Rangat is a 1070 sq. km. large island in Middle Andaman with pristine beaches, waterfalls, and interesting islands. This island has a population of 38815 people spread across 75 census villages and 14 gram panchayats. The population is primarily made up of people from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Fisheries and cultivation are the two primary occupations of people in this island. Entry into Rangat is chiefly from Port Blair and by ferries from Havelock, Neil and Long Island. Therefore, tourists have to enter Andamans through Port Blair and travel to Rangat by road or sea. Rangat is a distance of 93 km by road; morning bus services are available between Port Blair and Rangat. The travel time is about 6-7 hours. Road to Rangat from Port Blair passes through Jarawa reserves on the west coasts of South and Middle Andaman. The island is 50 nautical miles by sea and shipping services are available for 4 ,5 days in a week. The travel time is about 4-5 hours. Amkunj Bay beach is another sandy beach on the way to Cutbert Bay. This beach is ideal for swimming, sun bathing and relaxation.      Book Now
