Sandy-Beach

White Sand Beach is the most popular tourist destination on Koh Chang Island in Trad. Its a broad and aptly named white-sand beach strung with beach bars, resorts and bungalows. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, and there are no motorboats or jet skis to interrupt the quiet. Instead, guests of hotels on White Sand Beach spend their time sunbathing, swimming and enjoying sports like beach volleyball or Frisbee. This is one of the most commercial stretches of the Koh Chang coast. While Klong Prao Beach to the south is more hotels-intensive, White Sand Beach has a little bit of everything. Shops are concentrated in commercial plazas a few blocks inland. These deal in swimwear and fashion, handicrafts, beach toys and sporting goods. The beach is strewn with merchants selling souvenirs, figurines, silk and jewelry. Huts up and down the beach offer Thai massage in open air salas, while resorts offer similar services but in more upscale environs. Deck chairs are available to guests of resorts and hotels in White Sand Beach, and in some areas non-guests can rent them by the hour. There are many seafood restaurants, beach bars and night clubs in the area. The main waterfront area hosts several dance clubs, and late-night revelers arrive from neighboring districts on a nightly basis, as the selection of after-hour establishments in White Sand Beach is the best on Koh Chang.      Book Now
